Hi thanks for the video upload. I've got the wavestate native and purchased 2 sounds sound packs . I've loaded everything in correctly using sample builder and imported in to wavestate native. All the samples play fine and everything loaded correctly. My problem is the drums/ bass / sequence dont sync correctly when changing chord/ note in the left hand . When I go from one note to the other it sort of jumps and its not a smooth change . It seems all out of sync . I decided to uninstall everything and reinstall. Before I installed my packs again, I tried a few presets on the native (trance) and I'm getting the same outcome. I've tried 3 different midi controllers , all drivers and software upto date. Any ideas ?? Thanks

Thanks for all demo and tutorials about this arranger, however have you had issue of crashing during live performance? Last year, I planned of getting this and rent for 2 weeks for a show. It was freezed and I had to reboot it. It was stock sounds, no custom sample, no custom or import any styles. I like the sounds and features of it compare to yamaha PSR/Genos. I hope version 1.3 is solved some issue.

Thanks for this detailed tutorial. Cubase works flawlessly for me. I tried using Ableton, but it merged the entire MIDI file onto a single track. Cubase, on the other hand, is incredibly user-friendly. You just start a new project, drop the file onto the grid, and it automatically detects the channels, tracks, and names. The MIDI output to my PA5x plays back perfectly on the original instruments. I'm currently using the 60-day free trial of Cubase Elements, and if this continues to work well, I'll definitely be switching to Cubase.

Hi Qui, i’m trying to import sample loops in my KORG PA 5X it seems there is a problem with syncing variations doesn’t sync properly when I go from one variation to another or from any Fills it lose the sync ! Second problem that I have it does not chop the sample properly in the correct time measure if it’s 4/4 or 6/8 for an example when it chops it does not chop from a crack, transient and number of chops are way too off either. It’s less or it’s way too many.

Can the faders be used to mix different sounds on the Pa5x, just like the montage 8, and how many sounds can be mixed?

I think back to the early 90s when I bought my Wavestation AD. Back then the only resource we had was the badly translated manual that came with it. Oh to have had access to all the excellent content on here and elsewhere! Nowadays there is no excuse not to learn this incredible synthesiser inside out. I find the whole wave sequencing synthesis has barely been scratched. Once you have cracked this thing, you will be making sounds that nothing else can produce. Truly unique and in this age of never ending analogue monos and polys, totally refreshing and original. If you’re a programmer, I can’t recommend this synth enough.
